"Sophisticated?" Astrid raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in her smile. "Let's just stick to what we usually do. No need to be so uptight."

"How can I not be nervous? There's a lot of backlash online about you being a judge. People have been leaving nasty comments on the show's official social media. If your look isn't on point, they'll pick apart everything and claim you're not taking it seriously," Selena fretted.

From the moment Astrid rose to fame, the critics hadn’t let up. But Astrid had only grown more popular, undeterred by their negativity.

"You know they're just trolls, right? They’re just adding to the buzz—free publicity!" Astrid chuckled, noticing Selena’s furrowed brow in the mirror. "Hey, don't look so glum. People will think I'm making your life miserable."

"I've sent you a nice little bonus. Once I'm in the studio, go treat yourself to some snacks and have fun. And don’t come back until you’ve spent it all!"

Selena’s phone beeped, showing a notification: "Astrid the Goddess has sent you $300." Her worries vanished instantly. "Thanks, boss!"
