"No, no, that's not necessary," Astrid quickly interjected. "I'll handle this myself. All I need from you is to keep an eye on the film crew. Let me know immediately if you spot any unfamiliar faces."
Lamont asked, "And what should we do about this person?"
Astrid replied, "Leave that to me. I'll make sure they receive a special gift."
"Understood, ma'am," Lamont nodded.
That evening, in a secluded cabin on the outskirts, a man was sitting in the garden, meticulously carving a piece of wood. This was Wraith, the leader of the second division of the Viper Hunters.
After a while, his phone vibrated gently on the table. He tapped the screen with his finger, revealing a message: "Boss, Aster is returning to headquarters this month."
A dangerous glint appeared in Wraith's narrow eyes. "Do we know her purpose for coming back?"
The reply came swiftly: "She said she's coming to clean house."
Reading those words, Wraith applied a bit more pressure with his hands, snapping the nearly finished wooden carving. He rubbed his fingers over the broken piece for a moment before addressing his bodyguard standing nearby, "Book a ticket back to headquarters."
The bodyguard protested, "Boss, we just sent someone after her. She's heading back to clean house; she's clearly coming for you. You can't go back now!"
Without a word, Wraith suddenly flung the carving knife, striking the bodyguard right between the eyes. Calmly, he walked back inside, carefully setting the broken carving on a shelf. In a low voice, he murmured, "Star, long time no see."
