Agnes had a restless night.

Thankfully, she found some sleeping pills in the first-aid kit in her cabin.

After taking one, she eventually drifted off to sleep.

But she woke up early, as the first light of dawn crept into the sky.

Her cabin was in a prime spot.

It was on the top deck of the ship, with a floor-to-ceiling window.

Agnes poured herself a cup of hot tea, standing barefoot by the bed, waiting to catch the sunrise.

The sky was dark, but a hint of blue was beginning to emerge.

The sea breeze was strong today.

Even inside her room, she could feel the sticky saltiness in the air.

Finally, the sunrise came.

It was beautiful.

The sun burst over the horizon like a giant orange disc.

For once, Agnes felt at ease.

Agnes paused for a moment, then realized Elton was likely apologizing for what happened yesterday.

Elton was holding his phone, waiting.

He expected that given Agnes's usual demeanor, she wouldn’t reply.
