Elton was right.
Nate had managed to track Phenix's credit card transactions and discovered she had purchased two cruise tickets. However, finding any personal details was proving to be quite the challenge. All they knew was that Phenix and Kearney were somewhere aboard the massive cruise ship.
Dubbed "The Titanic II," The Warrior was famous for its opulence and size, attracting the wealthiest of the wealthy with its steep ticket prices. The ship was essentially a floating paradise of indulgence, boasting a grand theater, vibrant nightclubs, a casino, a sprawling golf course, and even a Ferris wheel-like observatory offering panoramic views from 300 feet above the ocean.
But Agnes wasn't interested in any of those luxuries. Her mind was solely occupied with worry for Phenix, and she had an uneasy feeling that something was about to happen.
The first thing they needed to do was check in. The multilingual staff at the reception desk greeted them warmly. When they noticed that Agnes and Elton had booked two separate rooms, the clerk smiled and said, "You two must be the only couple not sharing a room. How about I upgrade you to a sea-view suite? You can enjoy the unbeatable ocean view together."
Agnes responded with a firm, "He's not my husband; he's my brother."
"My apologies. Please hold on a moment while I process your check-in," the clerk replied.
