Agnes had been deep in thought aboard the ship for quite some time.
She figured the best plan was to stake out a spot they were bound to visit.
Elton was an early riser, too.
He knocked on Agnes's door first thing in the morning.
Agnes opened the door, unsurprised to see Elton. "Why are you up so early?" she asked.
"I came up with a few plans and wanted to run them by you," Elton replied.
"Come on in," Agnes said.
Elton indeed had a bunch of ideas, but they were pretty much in line with Agnes’s thinking.
Searching for someone on a cruise ship without any leads was like finding a needle in a haystack.
But waiting for them to show up somewhere relied heavily on luck.
Still, it seemed like luck was all they had to go on right now.
The first place Agnes and Elton decided to try was the ship's famed underwater restaurant.
It was one of the most unique spots on the entire cruise.
Most folks who boarded The Warrior were drawn to this very restaurant.
It was practically a must-visit culinary destination for anyone on the ship.
If they were here to enjoy themselves, chances were they’d make an appearance.
The restaurant was huge and offered a lot to see.
It had everything from American diners to Italian bistros, and you could mix and match whatever you liked.
Agnes and Elton arrived early.
The restaurant was still fairly empty at that hour.
“Since we’re here, we might as well grab some breakfast,” Elton suggested.
Though Agnes wasn’t really in the mood, she forced herself to have a bowl of seafood chowder at a small diner there.
The food was surprisingly good, with flavors that were rich and satisfying.
Agnes looked across the table at Elton. "Do you think they’ll come here?"
Elton shrugged. "Hard to say. It’s really up to chance."
