The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 469

Renae wasn't concerned about the danger Matthew pointed out. She had gone through it before and felt super safe with him around.

But when Matthew said those words, a wave of warm feeling washed over Renae. He was really looking out for her.

Renae sported a flirty smile and gazed at Matthew. "You gave Mom the Scholarly Tradition as the engagement gift. That means we're officially engaged, right?"

Matthew was taken aback. Wasn't the idea behind their engagement to help Renae shake off Damian? Why was it being brought up now?

For a moment, Matthew was unsure how to respond in a way that wouldn't hurt Renae's feelings but still got the message across.

Meanwhile, Renae looked at Matthew expectantly, waiting for his response. Their eyes met, like lovers gazing at each other. A weird tension hung in the air.

Sensing the passion in Renae's gaze becoming more intense, Matthew cleared his throat. "Are you messing with me? Don't act like that."

Matthew wanted to brush it off as a joke.

However, with a serious expression, Renae firmly stated, "I mean it. I've been single for three years, and there have been plenty of guys with their eyes on me.

"But all they see is my figure. They only want to hook up with me. None of them are sincere."

With a serious expression, Matthew replied, "You don't really know me. We've only been together for a few days."

Renae flashed a grin and stated, "Even though it's only been two days, you've already given me a lot. You helped me get my revenge and stopped Mom and Donna from using my marriage to get money.

"Besides that, you freed me from the mayor and even crossed the district leader for my sake. I remember everything you've done for me. If you're after my body, you can have it whenever."
