The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 470

Renae was getting more and more curious about Matthew. She wanted to figure out what kind of person he actually was.

Reporting on duty? Matthew frowned. He asked Dominic to take care of the body because he was with the military and his special status meant that the police couldn't interfere.

But upon hearing the sudden update, Matthew assumed something had gone wrong. "Just give me the details, and be straight with me."

Dominic glanced at Renae, thinking Matthew missed the hint. He suggested, "Can we talk about this in private?"

Matthew shook his head. "Don't worry about her. Feel free to say it."

Matthew didn't keep things from Renae. Did he trust her that much?

Renae's eyes lit up. Looking as joyful as ever, she smiled ear to ear with glee. Was it okay to say that now?

Dominic was visibly shocked. The dead person in question was Isaac. He was the heir of the Wood family and Horace's grandson. If news of this got out, it'd turn the world upside down. Nevertheless, Matthew didn't seem to take it seriously.

Dominic's demeanor became even more respectful. He leaned forward and lowered his head as he spoke a lot softer.

"Isaac's body is already taken care of. Mr. Miles told us to keep quiet about it and not let anyone know."

Matthew thought for a moment and pretty much figured out what Brad wanted. "Got it. Thanks for your hard work. I'm heading out for a personal matter, so feel free to take a break here."

Dominic sported a troubled look. "Our assignment is to protect you and follow your orders. We have to stay by your side at all times. Don't worry. We won't get in your way at all, and we'll keep our distance."

After thinking it over, Matthew uncrossed his arms. "Fine then. Just stay out of my way!"

Dominic repeatedly nodded. "Rest assured. We'll follow from a distance. Just wave when you need us, and we'll be right there. We won't interfere with what you're doing."

What made Dominic so well-behaved?

Matthew could hardly wrap his head around it. He recalled the scene when he first met Dominic and how Dominic introduced himself.

At the junkyard, Dominic thumped his chest as he gave his introduction. "I'm a Major, working in a battalion in the army. My dad's Brigadier, and my grandpa—"
