"Wow, she's incredible... This must be what a true master looks like!"
"I couldn't keep up with her speed even though I was staring the whole time!"
"The organizers must have spent a fortune to invite her. She's a real expert!"
"I take back everything I said before. She's absolutely amazing!"
"Ahhh, she's so impressive! I'm becoming her fan right now!"
"All that waiting was worth it to finally witness a performance of this caliber!"
...
The audience erupted with exclamations of awe, "Wow, she's amazing!"
Jonah Quinn watched as the crowd gazed in awe, their eyes wide with admiration. He felt a pang of regret.
He hadn't taken Astrid seriously before and had deliberately avoided watching her carving. But now, the audience's reaction was impossible to ignore, and he found himself turning to look.
Just as he did, Astrid's nonchalant voice drifted over, "All done."
The host was flabbergasted, "Ten minutes, Ms. Irvine only took ten minutes!"
The audience burst into enthusiastic applause, genuinely applauding Astrid!
As Jonah turned his head and saw the dragon in front of Astrid, his face fell.
Anyone with eyes could see that Astrid's dragon was far more perfect than his.
His was decent on its own, but in comparison, Astrid's looked like a masterpiece while his seemed like a cheap imitation.
"Astrid! Astrid! Astrid!" The crowd spontaneously began chanting her name.
Amidst the crowd, Elio watched as Astrid confidently waved to the audience, her smile dazzling him.
He could have easily catapulted her to the top, but he never interfered with her work, letting her strive and succeed on her own.
He knew that his girl wanted to achieve her dreams through her own efforts.
