Erhan’s slender finger moved around on the navigator’s screen. It was a pleasing sight. Josephine couldn’t stop staring. Even when Ethan moved his finger back to the steering wheel, Josephine’s gaze followed suit.

found it even more unbelievable that he admitted to it right away with no qualms. 

I asked my assistant to show me the videos of other potential competitors. After I watched all of it, I knew I had nothing to worry about.” 

Hah! Even if that was true, Josephine thought that he shouldn’t be the one saying that. It was just like him saying that the other competitors were equivalent to 

Josephine didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. When she was about to chide him, her phone suddenly rang. She looked down and saw that it was Zayn calling. Her eyebrows knotted in a frown. 

Ever since she moved out of the mansion, this was her first time dreading Zayn’s call. However, she couldn’t let it ring nonstop. It she rejected his call, it would make it seem like she was angry. She was left with no choice but to answer his call even though she was very reluctant. 

“Josephine, where are you? I’m worry I led to leave earlier. I had something to do when I came back, I realized that the party had already ended. I can’t find you nywhere. 

He sounded breathless. Josephine couldn’t decide if he really went looking for her or if he was putting on an act. 

Josephine tried to sound as calm as possible. “I left already. I am on my way back to the hotel – 

“You left already? How? Did the Shaws give you a ride? 

Hah! He actually remembered that she had no way of getting back to the hotel. Even so, he chose to spend time with Nadine and left her all alone at the Shaw mansion. He left her all alone to contend with the prying and inquisitive states and hurtful discussions. 

Insephine inhaled softly and replied, “You don’t have to worry about that. I am going to hang up if there’s nothing else.”
