"How come you saved me and where are we?" Nathaniel glanced around. He would only see a little light emitting from he perceived to be a window.
"We are in the Guerrero pack prison"
His eyes widened and then he realised that Adam must have taken them captive.
"How?"
"You were hurt and he was gonna kill you…" she paused as if saying it was gonna change anything. "I couldn't let him kill you"
"Is alright" Nathaniel stroked her back gently. "What did he make you do?"
"He didn't make me do anything. I just gave up my position just so he wouldn't kill you but then I don't know he has already poisoned you"
"Is the same Alexandra"
"Yes" He said. "How did you save me?"
"My wolf guided me to save you"
"Your wolf?"
"Yea" Alexandra smiled at the memory. Her wolf had spoken to her just at the right time. If it didn't then she would have lost him. "If my wolf hadn't spoken to me then I don't think I would have saved you" She shakes off the feeling that would forever hunt her until she gets rid of Adam.
"I was so scared Nathaniel. I haven't really been so scared before"
Nathaniel stroked her back. He could sense she was still saddened by what happened to him. "Is alright. I'm here now and I will never leave you"
"Are you sure?"
"Yea" He nodded. He wasn't going to leave her. He never knew fighting Adam and his guards will get him so injured. Adam played it so well and he didn't know this. If he had known then Adam wouldn't have won. "Are you certain is only poison he gave to me?"
"Yea I'm sure" She lied. She wasn't sure it was only poison and neither was Nathaniel as well. Nathaniel could remember it all, what happened to his body didn't just feel like poison it was so strong that it took control of him and before he could fathom what was going on. His knees was already weak and he had lost his strength.
He could feel his strength leaving him making him vunerable for attack.
"Why are you asking?"
"Nothing" Nathaniel shot a genuine smile. He didn't want her to be worried sick about him.
As if sensing he was not a bit sincere, she arched up her brow at him studying the line on his face, every crease for signs that he was lying and she saw it right in his eyes that he was not totally honest with her.
"What are you hiding?"
"I'm not hiding anything" He widened his smile and Alexandra knew that smile. It was signs that he was lying to her.
"I can tell you are lying"
"I'm not lying just not thinking is important since I'm right here"
"Everything is important when it comes to you"
"Alexandra"
"What is it you are not telling me?"
