It was the day of Nathaniel's succession ceremony and Alexandra's Luna ceremony. The crimson clan had gathered at the pack house while watching the ceremony take place. Those who had not accepted Alexandra as the Alpha didn't bother arguing with Nathaniel.
They kept their decision to themselves while watching the ceremony with hopes that Nathaniel might realise himself and choose another mate. But that didn't happen since his mind was already made up. Nathaniel knows what he wanted and when he arrived at his pack. He made sure that no one would dare thwart his order.
"Are you alright?" Nathaniel asked and Alexandra just nods her head. She was happy she was walking through this journey with Nathaniel by her side. Even though, a part of her was still scared that all of this might be a dream and Adam night just appear any time to break them apart.
"Nothing's gonna go wrong, alright" Nathaniel assured and Alexandra could say that she was now relaxed.
Nathaniel's word was all she needed to remember that this was an important day for the both of them and she wasn't going to ruin it by giving Adam the very thing that he wanted.
When the ceremony was almost coming to an end, Nathaniel took Alexandra's hand and kissed her lips right before the pack once again. He breaks away, turning to the pack, attempting to say something when the door is kicked wide open by Adam.
Adam charged towards them like a military man, aiming to strike Alexandra when Nathaniel quickly pushes her aside and Adam misses, falling to the ground. He looks at them and they glare at him.
"You got some nerve coming here" Alexandra said.
"Do you think you were going to get rid of me like that?"
"You dug your own grave" Nathaniel admits.
"Everyone here is going to die!" Adam said aloud and fear cast over the pack.
"Do not pay attention to this man!" Alexandra retorts.
"You think I'm bluffing. Do you honestly think I came here unprepared?"
"I don't think, I know"
"Fine suit your self" As Adam swings his sword towards Alexandra. She dodges and kicks him on the chest, He stumbled backward and Nathaniel was quick to land a hard punch on his chest.
The gravity knocking him off his feet, pushing him up in air and falling on the ground. The sword falls off his hand and he Spat out blood.
"You should have stayed away"
Adam glared at them.
"Why did you crawl out of your hole?" Alexandra asked.
"You're gonna pay for this!" Adam charged towards Alexandra, swinging a punch at her. She holds his arm, twisting his elbow. Alexandra moves behind him and hold him by his neck.
As he attempts to make a move, Nathaniel points his sword at him and the guard barged in with the witch. Adam's eyes widened. He didn't think he will be caught.
This was supposed to be his victory.
