Tears crowd Alexandra's eyes as she stared right back at him. He looked even more handsome and Alexandra couldn't resist the urge to rush towards him and engulf him tightly. Nathaniel stiffened, his gaze wicked, pulls away from her arm and she arched up her brow, confused.
"Nathaniel"
He frowned. "Who are you?"
Alexandra scoffed. This must be some sort of joke. "Who am I? Don't you know who I am"
"Who are you?"
She frowned. "Is me Al –"
He hastily engulfed her tightly grinning. Even if he looses every part of him, he can never loose the memories he has of her. Their memories together would be forever imprinted in his mind, she made certain of that.
"Alexandra" He said and she smiled cupping his face and runs her index finger on his face.
"Nathaniel"
"The only" He tucks a strand of hair behind her ear and kissed her forehead.
When Adam and his guards struck him down, he had thought he will never see Alexandra again. The thought ripped him apart and while he slowly slipped into darkness. He whispered her name. That name meant everything to him, from the day he had set eyes on her. Although it wasn't love at first sight. Nathaniel had gotten fond of Alexandra and while he waited for her to gradually open up to him he began to love her. When this Feeling started he wasn't so sure but what he knows is that it's stronger than ever.
He trails his hand on her face and she kisses his palm. "I meant every word I said to you"
"I know. You don't have to explain anything"
"I need to Alexandra"
"You saved my life and protected me and I… I thought I wasn't gonna see you again" Tears drops on her cheeks and Nathaniel wipes it off.
"Shhhh. Is alright. I'm right here and I'm not leaving you"
Alexandra shakes her head disappointed with herself. This was her doing, she was the one to blame for what happened and even after he has recovered. She couldn't just get over the feeling. The fear was already in her heart, the fear that she would have lost him.
"You nearly died"
"Is alright. That's what happened in a fight"
"No is my fault. I'm the one to blame. It should have been me not you. Not my Nathaniel"
Nathaniel smiled. He never thought he will hear her call him her Nathaniel again. "I should be the one protecting you and I did what I have always wanted. What I should have done a long time ago"
"It isn't your fight and if I didn't want that stupid revenge then it wouldn't have been that way"
"Is not stupid. There is nothing stupid about seeking vengeance against the people who hurt you. They are the ones who should be like this and not you"
"Still you got hurt"
"I'm fine now" Nathaniel could sense she must have been scared. He never meant to startle her, he had thought he would win the fight. He was so sure of winning but he didn't know that Adam never played fair. He was a crafty fellow and Nathaniel didn't know that.
"Yea almost"
