The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 481

Facing Dwight standing in his path, Matthew raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure you can take me on?"

Dwight scoffed. "I'm trained in karate, and I can take down a wimp like you without even breaking a sweat!"

In the card room, Dwight slammed the chips on the table so they bounced up and scattered on the floor. Matthew was so terrified that he didn't utter a word and obediently picked them up.

That was obviously a test. Matthew came off like a wuss, and that gave Dwight the confidence to rob him.

Taking a deep breath, Matthew tried to contain his anger. "I don't want any trouble, but you better not mess with me."

Dwight was taken aback. He grabbed the steel pipe and walked toward Matthew, hurling insults. "You're pathetic. Acting tough, are you? I'll fuck you up—"

Just as Dwight was halfway through his sentence, a thud filled the air. He was sent flying six feet away in the air before hitting the ground as if he'd been hit by a speeding car.

The steel pipe clattered to the ground as it rolled toward Dwight.

Dwight held his belly. It felt like a knife had stabbed into his abdomen and was stirring up his insides. The agonizing pain had him drenched in sweat as he curled up tightly.

Matthew walked over. "Like I said, I don't want any trouble. But you just had to push my buttons." After he finished speaking, he bent down and picked up the steel pipe.

Upon seeing this, Dwight was startled. "What are you trying to do?"

Matthew coldly replied, "You said you'd risk your life if you lost at gambling. Guess what? You lost in your attempt as well."

Dwight was scared out of his wits. "I… I just want to take some money. You've won a ton already. You can't kill me. Do you even know who I am? You wouldn't dare lay a finger—"

The steel pipe came down with a whoosh, smashing right into Dwight's head. He wobbled a bit and stammered, "How dare you hit me—"

Dwight couldn't finish his sentence when he suddenly dropped down.

Matthew shone the light from his phone over and saw a gaping wound on Dwight's head. Blood poured out from it, and soon there was a puddle of blood on the ground. Under the light, the crimson blood looked strikingly eerie and horrifying.

Terrified, Renae quickly looked away and softly asked, "Is he okay?"
