The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 386

Matthew was filled with murderous intent.

Soldiers were trained to fight on the battlefield, guard the borders, and rescue people from disasters. But they should never point their guns at civilians.

Yet, they were aiming their weapons at Matthew. Unable to contain himself, he pointed at Trevor. "What are you doing? Are you really going to shoot me?"

Trevor was taken aback. With so many guns pointed at Matthew, he didn't expect Matthew to stand his ground defiantly.

He wasn't planning to pull the trigger. After all, he just wanted to intimidate Matthew to back down. As long as Isaac wasn't in danger, Trevor's mission was completed.

But when his eyes fell on the Juprus Ring on Matthew's finger, Trevor's expression changed. He immediately shouted at his men, "Lower your weapons!"

The soldiers moved in perfect unison. Their hands gripped their rifles with the barrels pointed skyward.

Isaac frowned. "What's going on here? I ordered you to kill him! Did you hear me?"

Suddenly, Trevor shouted, "Salute!" His voice was hoarse and raw, as if he was straining every muscle just to shout the command.

The sound boomed through the room, with echoes reverberating like thunder.

The soldiers snapped to attention, and they saluted in perfect synchronization. Despite their small number, their collective salute had the force of a roaring wave.

Isaac was dumbfounded. These soldiers had never shown the heir of the Wood family with such respect. Yet now, they were saluting Matthew, an unremarkable figure.
