Cedric stared at the screen. For a long while, he remained dumbstruck.
He knew the status of the person who had contacted him. It was startling to see those words from a person of such high standing.
He raised his head to look at Matthew. He couldn't help but glance at the ring on Matthew's hand again.
Matthew was somewhat attractive. However, he was dressed in plain clothes. His appearance was as drab as the ring—so unassuming that no one could tell what his background was.
Nonetheless, such an unassuming person had such a terrifyingly high status. Cedric would have to treat his every word as a command.
Cedric no longer dared to bring up Matthew's assault on Levi. What he had to do was declare his position.
"Mr. Grant, I have a low standing, and I'm ignorant. I didn't know your true identity. Please forgive my ignorance. If there's anything you need from me, just give me the order, and I'll carry it out right now."
Matthew had been observing Cedric's reactions. He could tell from his reactions that the ring was of great importance. He wanted to ask Cedric what it represented.
However, there would be no point in asking him. The person behind Cedric was the one who truly knew what the ring symbolized. He'd have to learn about it another way.
"I'll leave Levi to you. I think he should get his due punishment."
Cedric nodded. "Okay, I'll have someone lock him up and investigate him right now. I'll uncover everything he has done over these years."
Matthew agreed. "Finding out the mastermind behind him would be the best. Remember, no matter who they are, you must tell me. Don't get involved with whatever happens after that. I won't drag you into this."
Cedric bobbed his head. "I'll do my best to get it out of him."
After giving the instructions, Matthew left with a wave.
Cedric frowned at Levi, who was lying on the ground, and pondered how to deal with him properly. It was a sticky situation.
