The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 344

She'd driven away in a red car on that day, leaving the newly freed Matthew behind. It all felt like a dream. Now, it was happening again, but the roles were reversed.

Tessa grumbled, "Is this karma? Does that exist for real?"

After thinking about it for a long time, her expression gradually shifted. Her eyes grew colder as she yelled, "Why is this happening? I'm a woman! Why can't you forgive me? Can't you man up? Do you think you're all that?

"If you could start from the bottom, I can too. Even if the company is gone, I can start over again. I'm going to succeed no matter what it takes. I'm going to be so powerful that you'll have to look up at me.

"Just you wait, Matthew Grant! One day, you'll be on your knees begging me to forgive you!"

Her screams attracted the attention of the passersby on the street. Plenty of people stood there and watched her.

Tessa glared at them condescendingly and roared, "What the fuck are you looking at? Haven't you seen a woman curse before? Fuck off, all of you!"

Some of the people walked away mumbling to themselves. Some shook their heads, and some even called her a crazy lady.

Tessa went up to a cab and said, "I have no money, but I need a ride."

The driver was stunned. He looked at Tessa, frowning. "What type of a ride are you looking for if you don't even have any money?"

Tesa said coldly, "Look at me. Aren't I worth it?"

The driver hesitated. She was beautiful even though her face was tear-streaked. She had obviously been crying. She was probably upset over a relationship.

"You're pretty. You don't have to hurt yourself even if some jerk broke your heart. You'll meet a better man."

Tessa tilted her chin up. "What would you know? From now on, I'm not the Tessa Sanders that I used to be. I don't care about my face or my body. I can rip out my heart if necessary. I will do whatever it takes to succeed.

"You will be the first stepping stone in my journey. That is, unless you don't want to drive me there."
