Her rosebud-colored lips looked absolutely delectable.
"You need to work well together."
When Silas walked in, he was mesmerized by the two beautiful women. But since he wanted to be polite, he dared not gawk at them. So, he looked at the office decorations instead. However, his mind was focused on their conversation.
He could already sense the suggestiveness in Tracy's words and glances. What was even more surprising was the fact that Rachel had paired Tracy and Matthew together to be in charge of the research institute.
Wasn't she basically handing off her man to another woman? Was she blind, or was she doing this on purpose? Silas couldn't bear to think about it.
Matthew was nonchalant. "I'm okay with it."
Tracy smiled and reassured Rachel, saying, "I'll only be in charge of the finances. I can ignore everything else as long as we're profiting.
"By the way, I was out looking earlier, and I found a pretty good place available for sale. It would be a nice spot for the research institute. Should we look at it together?"
Matthew didn't think that things would be this easy. "Let's go."
Rachel considered it for a while and said, "I'm busy today. You two can go. I'll be over soon if I have the time."
"Okay," Matthew replied, bringing Silas to the elevator.
Tracy hurried after them. "You're driving, aren't you? I'll be your passenger princess then."
Matthew said nothing, walking into the elevator. Meanwhile, Tracy raised her eyebrows. "I'm the president and your superior. Why aren't you replying to me?"
For whatever reason, Matthew would make her feel snubbed every time. Tracy felt upset. Matthew was her assistant now. It was time for revenge.
She didn't intend to humiliate him or anything. She just wanted to get rid of that antsy feeling in her chest.
