Tracy pursed her lips. At first, she wanted to ask, "What the hell are you talking about?"
But just as she was about to say that, she changed her mind. "Alright. I'll borrow him as a beauty supplement. Ha ha ha…"
After that, she felt the heat rising to her cheeks. She covered up her embarrassment with her laughter.
Rachel glanced at her and said, "Oh, I just remembered that you've never felt the touch of a man before. You aren't seriously considering it, are you?"
She'd actually hit the nail right on the head. Tracy said crossly, "You were the one who's been touched by a man and sitting here talking about doing it again. Now, you're making pointed jabs at me. We promised each other that we'd be spinsters together, but you've changed!"
Just as she said that, a voice sounded at the door. "Who's changed?"
Tracy looked up, seeing Matthew. She blushed even harder and said, "You have!"
Matthew looked at Rachel. "What's going on?"
Rachel said with a reddened face, "It's girl's talk. You wouldn't understand. Didn't you say you wanted to talk about investing in the research institute today? I've been waiting for ages. Why are you just getting here?"
Matthew frowned. "Since when did I say that we would talk about it today? You asked for the day off last night. I even told Tracy to help you look after the company. Have you misremembered something?"
When Rachel thought of last night, her face grew excruciatingly hot.
She was tired yesterday, but after a good night's sleep, she felt like a completely new person. She was like a plant that had just been watered, bouncing back even livelier than before.
She felt like she had recovered, so she came to the company to work. But now, Matthew's question was putting her on the spot.
"Let's not talk about all that. Let's talk about the research institute.
"We need to choose a location, hire employees, and hire a manager to handle all of those employees. These all require manpower. It's even more important than the investment."
Matthew nodded. If they wanted to make a profit off the project, they would have to rely on their employees. However, firstly, they would need a manager.
