The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 682

---

"It wasn't some kind of Last Supper situation—the food here was freshly made by the local chefs, totally safe."

Kenneth hadn't expected Allison to see right through him so quickly.

The woman was stunning. She had that kind of beauty that looked soft and delicate at first glance, seemingly harmless.

But she was sharp. Really sharp.

Kenneth took off his watch and tossed it aside, disabling the hidden camera within.

"Allison, how about we cut the crap and speak frankly?"

"I can help you, Kenneth."

Kenneth felt a twinge of anxiety. "How exactly?"

"Do you have any dirt on Andrew or Hudson?"

"I've got something on Andrew, but he's a slippery one. If I expose him, he'll have me taken out. Hudson, on the other hand, has a nasty habit of drugging and taking advantage of the new recruits at Epic Entertainment. He lures them with promises of stardom, then discards them with minor roles to keep them quiet. Those artists are all under long contracts with Epic, so they're stuck between a rock and a hard place. They can't speak out without ruining their own careers, and no one dares testify against him."

"I can help you, but I have my conditions."

"As long as you secure my position as deputy director, I'll be at your beck and call."

That was exactly the commitment Allison was looking for from Kenneth.

Kenneth, who normally appeared so cultured, now had a fierce determination in his eyes.

At that moment, the waiter knocked and brought in the food.

Allison had ordered some of the restaurant's signature dishes.

After dinner, Allison laid out her plan. "This Saturday, get Hudson and Andrew to the Red Jack Club, room 503. If you can't think of a way, force yourself to. If you get them both there, you'll keep your position. If you can't, it means you're not capable, and all your promises are worthless."

Kenneth stood up resolutely. "Understood."

"Remember, this is your last chance. I know you're not in cahoots with those two. They won't easily agree to meet during the financial audit period. Proving you can get them there is all on you."

"I'll make sure they show up."
