Agnes always loved swinging under the cherry blossom tree in the backyard. Sometimes, Elton would give her such a strong push that it felt like she was flying. Agnes would scream in shock, begging him to stop, but he just wouldn't listen. Just when she was about to lose her temper, he would catch her from behind in a big hug. Then, she would chase him all around the yard, trying to hit him for scaring her.
These memories came back to her like scenes from an old movie, playing one after another in her mind. It all felt like a lifetime ago.
The car smoothly pulled up in front of the mansion. Agnes and Jared stepped out. Elton was waiting at the door. As they walked over, Elton greeted them with a smile, "Welcome, you two. Come on in."
The Whitfield mansion seemed just as Agnes remembered it, even the piano in the corner of the living room. That piano was once her favorite thing in the house. Agnes couldn't play, but Elton was a maestro. By ten, he had reached Grade 10 in piano, but for him, it was just a hobby, and he hadn't touched it in years.
Agnes remembered a cultural exchange at school where various art clubs were competing to see who was best. The bickering and rivalry were endless until Elton, tired of their antics interrupting his basketball time, played a stunning piece, "Flight of the Bumblebee," that left everyone in awe. From then on, he was dubbed the Piano Prince of the school.
