Matilda had been finding herself with a lot of free time on her hands lately.

After she handed off her responsibilities, it felt like the 24 hours in a day stretched on endlessly. Chloe and Godfrey were inseparable, leaving Matilda with nothing much to do but join Adrian in the daily routine of dropping off and picking up Logan from school, always punctually waiting outside the elementary school gates at four o'clock.

One day, Logan's teacher pulled Matilda aside and whispered, "I think your son is really too advanced for elementary school. He's already familiar with all the course material, and sometimes he talks about things even we haven't heard of... Did he study on his own before?"
