When Josephine was talking to Zayn on the phone, Ethan noticed that her tone was much gentler than usual.

Josephine couldn't understand what was going on. She worriedly said, "Let's get more detailed tests done."

Afraid that he would overthink, she comforted him, "Perhaps it's just temporary. You'll be fine. Don't worry."

Ethan nodded and said weakly, "Sorry for wasting your time."

"Don't be. I didn't have other plans today. Just get some rest. I'll take care of you."

Even though she spoke casually, she was actually feeling anxious inside.
