When Adam was out of sight, Alexandra falls to the ground. She had not expected Adam would go to such length. He poisoned him. How could he? She thought.
Although she was too surprised. This was Adam Hawthorn. The man was heartless, he could go the extra mile just to get what he wants and she had what he wanted. Glancing around, Alexandra blinked her eyes to stop the tears from falling out. He already poisoned him yet he still accepted the deal. He was dying. Her Nathaniel was dying. She rushed over to him and trails her index finger on his face wishing he would open his eyes.
His face was pale and his lips was now dried up, his skin was beginning to change colour causing her to wonder what sort of poison was inside his body. No wonder Nathaniel was weak and couldn't fight them. He had been defeated because Adam didn't fight fair. He never fought fair and that was the difference between them.
Anything, just about anything he throws at her she will accept it but what she cannot stand is seeing him hurt. Her heart ached, she wanted to take his place, to be the one poisoned and on the verge of death.
Nathaniel didn't deserve any of this, it wasn't his crime. His sin was being tied down with her by the moon, been her mate. If he belonged to someone else then none of this would happen. He wouldn't have infiltrated the prison without his own guards, but Alexandra had a feeling. They found out about the lies Adam spread about her and just like the Guerrero pack, everyone believed.
No one wanted to seek her out and hear from her, it ripped her heart apart just knowing how little she was in their eyes. Although she wasn't mad at them, they didn't know her since she wasn't part of the Crimson pack and they haven't met her. She doesn't even know anyone in that clan aside Nathaniel.
During her stay in his pack, she had been in a hurry to leave that she had missed yet another opportunity to meet them. She wondered what sort of werewolves were in his pack. Would they love her? Are they feeling his absence? Will they come for him?
She raked her hand through her hair frustrated. This may be her doing but Adam and Olivia are to blame for all of this. They had killed her even after ripping her position and betraying her. It was in that moment that she had wished she will get another chance then she wouldn't dare play with it and she hasn't.
What will take to heal him. If she wasn't held up in this cell then she would have looked around for herbs or gone to the drug store. The latter would be impossible since Nathaniel was a werewolf and going to a drug store might expose their identity. Not that they were hiding who they were but Humans have been kept out of their world.
Alexandra got up and moved towards the bars and begins hitting on it. She wasn't going to let him die so easily. More than anyone else, Nathaniel deserved the world and although she wasn't going to give it to him she was going to save him at all cost.
"Hey! Hey Who's out there?" She hits on the bars but no one came around.
She wasn't going to give up so easily. "Who's there?" She continues hitting on the bars but gains a deafening silence.
Alexandra halts realising she needed to get better if she wanted their attention. She will have to drive them crazy to point that they won't have any other choice than to come to her. Glancing around her eyes falls on the rusted chains and she towered towards it and begins hitting it against the bars. The chains lands with annoying thump against the metal bars.
"Get here soon"
A chubby guard rushed inside and Alexandra halted.
"Finally I gained someone's attention"
"Are you trying to annoy us?" He asked.
"I don't care" she slides the chain on the ground before striking it against the bars
"Stop that!"
"Make me" she does it again and the guard raked his hand through his mussed hair.
"You're really pushing it"
"Well this will drive you crazy" She flings the chain to the bars again. She wasn't gonna stop until he listened to her.
"Fine!" What do you want?"
