The Blanchet Villa.
Ellinor and Theo had been chatting in the study for quite a while.
Ellinor had managed to iron out all her doubts. She tried to get up from Theo's embrace but was held back.
The man leaned in, attempting to get affectionate.
Ellinor turned her face away and poked his chest. "You better go take a shower, then we can talk…"
Theo squinted. "A shower? What are you planning on doing to me?"
Ellinor rolled her eyes. "Who's planning on doing what? I just don't like the smell of other people on you."
Theo pretended to be hurt. "I'm clean, Ellinor. I may have forgotten about you for a while, but I haven't done you wrong. I don't smell like anyone else."
Ellinor frowned. "I'm talking about your clothes. The smell of the laundry detergent on them is from someone else. I don't like it!"
Theo paused and looked down at his clothes. They were indeed bought and washed by Sophia. He had been in a rush these past few days and hadn't had the chance to change.
Thinking about this, he finally let go of her. "Alright, I'll go clean up and throw these clothes away. From now on, I'll only wear what you give me."
Even though Ellinor looked disgusted, she felt sorrow for everything they had been through. She pursed her lips and said, "Go on! Your grandparents must be both excited and nervous to see you after such a long time. We're having a family dinner tonight."
Theo obediently nodded. "Sure, my love."
