Wyatt sat in the room calmly. He scooped some coffee powder into a pristine coffee pot and added some fresh water. Next, he added condiments to the coffee pot.

Finally, he added boiling water to the coffee pot, and steam started escaping from its spout. The room was filled with a faint coffee aroma.

When Wyatt finished everything, he took his time and said, "I already said he's a bigwig. He doesn't have time to just sit around and wait for you. I'm going to be straight with you today. Your status doesn't cut it. You're already lucky to be here. Forget about getting the formula."

Matthew coldly remarked, "Are those your words, or did your boss say that?"

Matthew kept a blank expression. He didn't want to complicate things before meeting their higher-ups. "So, when is the big guy coming?"

Wyatt raised an eyebrow. "You can't wait any longer, can you? Fine. I'll reach out to my boss. I'll crush that hope of yours once and for all."

With that, Wyatt picked up the phone and chatted for a bit before hanging up. "He's on the way, but I've got to warn you to not get your hopes up. He won't even spare a glance at you."

In no time, the door opened. An old man walked into the room, and Wyatt immediately got up to his feet.

"This is the guy looking for you, Mr. Murray. I told him that he's not even qualified to show his face in front of you…"

He was halfway through speaking when his voice trailed off, shocked by the scene unfolding before him. Jerome figured Matthew had already left, so he decided to visit Matthew another time and rang up Wyatt.

Walking into the room, he was surprised to see Matthew and excitedly shook his hand. "I thought you left, Dr. Grant! I can't believe you actually came back. This is great."

Puzzled, Matthew looked at Jerome. "Are you the big shot Wyatt was talking about?"

Jerome waved his hand. "Big shot? I'm just your patient, Dr. Grant."
