The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 532

Everything felt unreal as Clint watched his men struggle frantically before going completely still. Standing in the middle of the corpses, Matthew looked like a demon from hell.

Matthew shifted his murderous gaze to Clint and coldly remarked, "It's your turn."

Clint locked eyes with Matthew. Fear struck him as he frantically backed away, eventually tripping and falling with a thud.

He hurriedly shouted, "Don't kill me! I know I was wrong. I shouldn't have been an accomplice. I regret my actions. I shouldn't have stopped those healthy people from escaping. Please give me one more chance."

With a swish, Matthew swung the Apex Blade, sending blood flying onto Clint's face. The latter squeezed his eyes shut in fear. Then, a sharp pain hit his chest.

Clint quickly snapped open his eyes and saw the blade piercing into his heart. The excruciating pain flooded his mind.

He gritted his teeth and shouted, "Why? I already told you I regret it. Why can't you spare me?"

Furrowing his brows, Matthew was surprised Clint would ask that. He grunted and yanked out the Apex Blade.

Clint cried out in pain. He was on the verge of passing out from the agony. His face contorted in pain as he fought to endure the agony. He tried to cover the wound with his hand, but it didn't help. Blood kept spilling out like a fountain.

Clint could feel his life slipping away and his strength gradually leaving him. That was when Matthew decided to say, "What if I told you I regret killing you? Is there still time to take it back?"

Clint trembled all over as he clenched his teeth and glared at Matthew. He was on the brink of death, his blood nearly drained. Yet, Matthew said he regretted it at this moment.

Clint ground his teeth in anger. Mustering the last bit of his strength, he weakly muttered, "What's the point of regretting it now?"

Matthew nonchalantly replied, "Well, you asked me why I didn't spare you when you regretted your actions. That is what I'd also like to tell you. Your regret doesn't mean a damn thing. What were you doing when you were digging your own grave?"
