The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 527

Luring Horace over? Dallas looked utterly shocked as if he'd seen a ghost in broad daylight. It was Horace they were talking about—the general who commanded thousands of troops.

Dallas wasn't the only one. Even Sebastian, who stood next to Matthew, was astonished.

What was Matthew up to? He had already offended a big shot and had no way out. Why did he lure the prominent figure over? Was he trying to get himself killed faster?

Matthew gradually raised the Apex Blade, and blood trickled down from it.

As the blade was lifted, blood droplets slid along the fullers toward the hilt, only to be stopped by the guard. It then fell from the dark metal guard onto the floor.

Dallas was in so much pain that sweat poured from his forehead, and he was trembling all over.

As the Apex Blade hovered above Dallas' head, he was scared out of his wits.

"Y-you can't kill me. Horace has an army in his command and has unrivaled authority. The mayor found this location for me when I established this psychiatric hospital.

"Even the mayor has to suck up to him. If you dare disrespect him, you'll meet a terrible end."

After a swoosh, the Apex Blade sank into Dallas' leg again. Dallas immediately shut his mouth, his gaze fixed on the blade buried in his thigh with disbelief. How did he have the nerve to do that?

An excruciating pain overwhelmed Dallas' senses and flooded his mind. His vision went dark, and he fainted.

In no time, the intense pain brought him back to consciousness, and he saw Matthew pulling out the blade.

The cold, narrow Apex Blade was slowly drawn out of his thigh, inch by inch. Blood poured out quickly from the blade, soaking his pants red in an instant. The pain made him tremble involuntarily.
