Waking up, Daniel saw every bit of Isaac's death unfold, and it sent shivers down his spine.
Isaac was the grandson of Horace. He was so full of himself because he had the backing to do it. Isaac had been just as haughty in Khoitwood, let alone in small Lambda. He had always carried himself with an arrogant attitude.
For years, no one dared to mess with him, but who would have thought Isaac would get killed in tiny Lambda?
Things were about to go south. Matthew, Opulent Club, and even Lambda City were in hot water. Daniel might have also been caught up in it.
Daniel got back on his feet and looked at Matthew. "You really shouldn't have done that. Killing Isaac was a huge mistake. You've gotten yourself in big trouble."
Matthew scoffed. "You should have told Isaac that instead. He never should have provoked me. Otherwise, he wouldn't have died so young."
Daniel crossed his arms. "You still haven't grasped the gravity of the situation. If you think I'm kidding, just you wait. You'll regret it one day."
After saying his piece, Daniel just made his way toward the door.
However, Matthew called out to him, saying, "Hold up. You're heading in the wrong direction. You won't be able to reach Isaac from here."
Daniel stopped in his tracks and looked at Matthew in panic. "What do you mean?"
Matthew coldly replied, "I mean it literally."
After saying that, Matthew unleashed his Pulverizer Fist. Then, the sound of crushed bones in the throat rang out.
With his hand on his neck, Daniel's mouth gaped open like a fish out of water, struggling to breathe.
Breathing was normally second nature, but no matter how hard Daniel tried, he couldn't get any air into his lungs.
Before long, Daniel started writhing on the floor. A few seconds later, Daniel lay there motionless.
Looking at the dead body, Matthew coldly snorted. "Hope you can catch up with Isaac on your way to hell."
Daniel dragged Rachel into this mess, so there was no way he got to get away with it.
With that, Matthew pulled out his phone and called Dominic. "Make it quick and come to the second floor. I'm in the third private room."
Dominic was startled. "What happened? Did the attacker show up? Never mind. Just stay put. Don't tick them off. I'll be there in a minute."
After hanging up, Dominic called out to the people nearby. "Matthew is asking for our help. Let's get in there quickly and get the job done. Then, we can head back to claim our reward."
