"He's the scammer who took my medical book."
Sandra's scream rang out in the entire junkyard. Felix Harrison, the owner of the junkyard, turned around and spotted Sandra. His expression changed slightly, but he quickly regained his usual demeanor and acted like Sandra wasn't there.
Then, he turned his attention back to the old folks. "Do you have any more medical books? If they are worth something, I'll give you a fair price."
Felix pretended that he didn't hear Sandra and went on with his business. Meanwhile, the old people gazed at Sandra with a skeptical look before going back to selling their medical books.
Seeing Felix act like nothing had happened, Matthew turned to Sandra again for confirmation. "Are you sure he bought your medical book?"
Sandra pointed at Felix, who was minding his own business. She shouted even louder than before, "That's the guy who scammed me out of my medical book! I'm sure I've got the right person."
Felix tossed the old books he was holding on the ground and moved around the old people to storm up to Sandra. His anger was evident as he confronted Sandra.
"You keep claiming I swindle your medical book. What makes you think I did?"
Sandra raised her voice and jabbed her finger at Felix. "The medical book was worth 100 million dollars, but you bought it from me for just 10 thousand dollars. If you're not a scammer, then who is?"
100 million dollars? Felix was taken aback for a moment but scoffed. "100 million dollars, huh? You must be nuts. That's a ridiculous price for an old medical book. That's hilarious."
Sandra extended her hand. "Give me back my medical book."
Felix coldly grunted. "I paid 10 thousand dollars for that book. Why on earth should I give it back?"
Sandra clenched her teeth in exasperation. "I'll return the 10 thousand dollars to you, but you better give me back that book. If you don't, we're not done here."
Felix was ticked off. "I bought the book, so why should I hand it back to you?"
Upon hearing that, Sandra stomped her foot. "You're just a lowly junk collector. Look at how filthy you are. You disgust me!
"I'm warning you. If you don't return my book, you can forget about doing any business today."
Felix was so worked up that he started shaking. "What's wrong with being a junk collector? So what if I'm all filthy? I run an honest business here, and I don't steal or rob anyone.
"If you find me so repulsive, then just get lost. Stay away from here! Get out! Who are you to judge my business?"
