The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 398

After Ted finished speaking, he charged at Matthew. As he closed in, he raised the dagger and aimed for Matthew's face.

Suddenly, there was a muffled thud as Matthew kicked Ted in the stomach. Ted flew backward at an even faster speed than he had charged, landing heavily more than six feet away.

The room fell into sudden silence. Ted clutched his stomach, gritting his teeth, his face twisted in agony.

Though he didn't make a sound, the pain seemed almost unbearable, as if it were piercing through to his very core.

Renae was frozen with fear, and her face paled. She didn't know what to do next.

Trevor looked at Matthew with a hint of admiration. Even though he couldn't intervene, he believed that Ted deserved to be punished. What Matthew had done was extremely satisfying.

After a while, Ted let out a painful groan. "Ah, it hurts so much!"

He gritted his teeth and pointed angrily at Matthew. He snapped, "You're in deep trouble. Just wait. I can make one phone call, and you're doomed. I'm calling right now."

With that, he pulled out his phone and began dialing.

Matthew slowly moved forward, his voice cold as he said, "So, you were trying to stab me earlier, right? Well, it's only fair to return the favor. Now it's my turn to stab you!"

Ted was halfway through his call when he got scared, turned around, and ran. As he fled, he shouted, "You… you just wait! This isn't over!" Quickly, he disappeared through the door.

Matthew tossed the dagger aside and saw that Renae was visibly pale, her eyes filled with fear.

He smiled and said, "I was just scaring that guy. Don't worry, I didn't actually mean to stab him."
