Matthew pointed at Florian and said, "Just beat him up for me. He's an eyesore."
Alex immediately turned to Florian, his face as cold as ice.
Florian knew how well Alex could fight. The latter could be really brutal if he wanted. Florian was already hurt. Seeing that Alex was going to hit him, he immediately begged for mercy.
"Please don't, Mr. Miller. Please, let me go."
Alex said, "If I were the one you'd pissed off, you might've gotten off easier. You shouldn't have messed with Mr. Grant."
Florian understood now that he was in deep trouble. It turned out that Matthew was someone that even Alex had to treat with respect.
His body turned to jelly, and he crumpled to the ground.
Alex went up to him and began beating him up in a frenzy. He stopped only when Florian was unconscious.
Then, he turned to Matthew. "If that wasn't enough, sir, I'll hit him some more."
Matthew glanced at Florian, whose leg was broken. He waved his hand and said, "Just throw him out." With that, he turned and went back into his office.
Alex followed him in. Seeing that the space was empty, he said, "Do you need more employees, Mr. Grant? I can hire them."
Matthew pursed his lips. "Florian works for you, doesn't he? With that sort of quality, I don't think I need you to help."
Alex cursed Florian inwardly for dragging his name through the mud along with him. Now Alex had lost the chance to be chummy with Matthew.
He spotted a broom by the wall and got an idea. "I won't be the manager. I'll just be the errand boy. You can order me around as you wish."
Matthew shook his head. "It won't be the same as before. This will be a research institute. People can't just walk in casually, and there won't be any errand boys."
Alex was disappointed. He'd lost the chance to work for Matthew.
Matthew suddenly remembered something. "Do you know about the Red Wolves?"
