The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 303

Matthew and Rachel quickly arrived at the Evans residence.

The Evans residence was huge, situated right next to the garden across the Lambda River. It was a three-story villa that had direct access to the garden.

They parked beside the garden. Then, Matthew grabbed Chester's hair and dragged him out of the car.

"Ouch!" Chester yelled. After snapping awake from the pain, he quickly followed Matthew and kept his head close to Matthew's hand to minimize the pain of his hair being yanked.

Right then, the Evans family was having a meeting with all the family members.

Justin Evans, Chester's grandfather, was talking. "The Hobbes family establishing its influence in Lambda City is a big deal. Other families might follow suit and come to build their influence here.

"Our family will stay out of conflicts with other factions. As for the Hobbes, we'll just play along and not commit to fighting for them.

"On the Hobbes family's behalf, Louis went ahead and confronted the Carter family, but he ended up getting beaten up by a chauffeur. It brought shame to the family and put us in a dangerous spot."

Louis quickly corrected Justin. "I was ambushed."

He didn't dare admit he was defeated because it would taint his reputation and cost him the opportunity to be the next heir of the Evans family. So, he was adamant about denying his loss.

Feeling frustrated, Justin snapped, "You've already lost, you coward! The world only cares about winning and losing. In a fight where lives are on the line, losing means death."

Louis looked down and kept silent because he knew Justin was right. If he had dropped to his knees any slower, he would have been dead. Just thinking about it filled him with dread.

Justin continued, "As the leading family in Lambda City, we can't let this humiliation go unpunished. Otherwise, we'll lose our dignity.

"So, who among you will go to Wealthwave Group and bring me that chauffeur? I want to kill him with my own hands."
