Anya scratched her head, “Auntie, I just popped into the bathroom for a bit.”

They turned Anya's bedroom upside down, rifled through the kitchen cabinets, and nearly cleared out Leo's study, computer and all. In the end, Leo slid open the wardrobe door, revealing his little sweetie hiding inside. The brothers locked eyes, and Leo smacked his forehead in disbelief. Henry, who had been playing hide-and-seek, burst into joyful laughter.

The laughter drew their mom over, and Mia put her hands on her hips. “I haven’t told you off in three days, looks like you’re due for a big one, huh?”

As they were heading out, his brother said, “Sweetie, I’m getting you a smartwatch with a GPS tracker. That way, even if you jet off to outer space, I’ll still find you.”

When they got home, Andre took over from his son and, hearing about Henry's antics, sighed, “I’m convinced genes really do pass down.”
