Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 1189

The next moment, she shoved her son into her husband's arms and dashed barefoot to the bathroom, flipping on the faucet to wash up in record time. "Chad, can you grab my clothes, please?"

With their son balanced on one arm, Chad opened her wardrobe. "Which ones?"

"The black fitted sweater and the grey high-waisted skirt, with the coat over it." Molly directed, her memory sharp as ever. She continued to freshen up quickly before darting out, changing clothes right there in front of her husband and son without a second thought.

There was no time for her usual skincare routine, so she snagged her son's moisturizer and hurried downstairs to slip on her shoes, her hair still a mess. Hansen, leaning on his cane, chimed in with a cheeky remark, "Sweetheart, does your job even cover all these deductions?"

Molly squeezed some of her son's moisturizer into her hand and briskly applied it to her face. "Dad, don't make me start taking from your retirement fund!"

With that, Molly hollered, "Chad, I need a lift to work."

Chad, carrying their son, headed out.

As Chad drove, Molly sat in the back with their son, expertly fishing out a makeup case and a wooden comb from the car's seat pocket. While tying her hair, she grumbled, "Must have been a real villain in my past life to deserve these early mornings. Lived it up in my past life, now I'm working my butt off. What a life!"

Officer Chad listened to her gripe, replying, "You didn’t even get up that early, and anyway, you're working for yourself."

Molly, flustered, shot back, "Chad, quit it, just drive! If I'm late and they dock my pay, it's coming out of your check."

Officer Chad: "…"

The Cedillo family sure knows how to be unreasonable.
