On her way to work, she picked up a baguette and a coffee, taking her sweet time savoring it as she strolled into the office. Chad watched her go in, then hopped into his car and headed back to the station.
In the president's office at Chade Inc., Molly, still munching on her baguette, burst into her mom's office, grinning. "Mom, brought your grandson for a visit."
Wayne's eyes were glued to his mom's mouth, the little guy almost crawling over, ready to nibble.
Coleen sighed, "Late again, Molly."
Molly smirked, "You can't prove it, Mom." She handed her son over, baguette in one hand, coffee in the other.
Coleen, tidying up her daughter, announced, "I've decided from now on, you'll clock in using the computer. The swipe cards are just for the doors."
Molly froze. "Wait, does that mean I have to be at my desk by nine every morning?"
"Mom, seriously?" Molly pleaded, "You know how tough it is with a kid and a family. We're both women here, why make things harder?"
Coleen chuckled, "I'm not tough on women, just you. You love cutting it close, let's see you handle this."
"Alright, alright, I promise I won't."
After finishing her breakfast in her mom's office, Molly tossed the trash and went downstairs to her desk.
Kyle caught her, "Late again, Molly."
"Come on, my mom just gave me an earful," Molly groaned.
