Rewriting My Heart's Fate novel Chapter 480

"Ms. Wiley, I didn't expect you to really wake him up," Rowan said slowly. "However, this works in my favor."

I looked at them warily, a sense of foreboding creeping over me, but I feigned gratitude. "Thank you for coming."

Richard smirked. "Of course, we're here to celebrate Mr. Grayson waking up."

With that, he suddenly raised the syringe in his hand.

My heart missed a beat. "What are you going to do?"

Richard's smile turned sinister. "This is a special celebratory drug. Just one injection, and he will sleep forever! Don't you realize? There isn't a single doctor or nurse in this hospital now. I didn't expect that this damn guy would be so tough…"

From the crash to the coma, all their steps had been carefully planned to seize the chance and finish off Ethan once and for all!

And here I was, thinking I should be grateful to them—how foolish of me!

"Stop!" I stood in front of Ethan, my eyes burning with fury. "I won't let you!"

Rowan sneered. "Ms. Wiley, I suggest you don't meddle. Do you really think a small-time designer can go up against Rovera Group? If you weren't so beautiful, would I even be interested in you? Do you even know your own worth?

"Now that the Grayson Group is in your hands, if you just cooperate with us, we'll guarantee you wealth and status. Why throw it all away for this dying man?"

I trembled with rage, nearly losing control and rushing to tear his face apart. "Get out! You despicable scum, I'd rather have nothing than help you harm him!"

Suddenly, I felt a hand grab mine, and a weak voice called out, "Evelyn, don't mind me. Just go!"

"How could I leave you?" My tears broke free again.

Richard and Rowan exchanged a glance and burst out laughing.

"Such a touching love story!" Richard exclaimed. "Too bad your happy ending is over."
