After Felicia entered Stephan's room, she expected to see the pale, weak figure lying on the bed, but to her surprise, the bed was neat and clean, with only slight creases where the blanket had been pulled. There was no one on the bed.
Where was he?
Had they dragged him out to be buried?
Felicia admired how she was actually able to smile in such a situation and time.
Stephan's bedroom was spacious, with a separate, oversized walk-in closet, next to which was a bathroom. On the other side was a study.
Then, there was the expansive balcony in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Felicia searched one by one, making her way from the study to the closet. She then checked the balcony, but she still couldn't find him.
She continued searching until she heard the sound of water running coming from the direction of the bathroom.
She paused in place, unmoving.
The sound of water soon stopped.
The bathroom door opened from the inside, and a tall, slender figure walked out. The man had broad shoulders, a narrow waist, long legs, and a tall frame. His eight-pack abs were visible, with smooth, flowing muscle lines from top to bottom, giving him a sensual yet powerful physique.
His body was taut, exuding strength and energy. Just looking at him would make anyone's nose bleed.
Black strands of hair were still dripping water, with crystal-like drops tracing down from his collarbone over his chest. Finally, they streamed down his firm torso, stopping at the bath towel tied loosely around his waist.
Felicia blinked.
Stephan seemed to sense something and lazily lifted his eyelids to glance at her.
He had originally thought it was Stanley or some other subordinate who had entered. He had been about to yell at them, but when he saw who it was, he froze and almost bit his tongue.
Was he dreaming?
While in his daze, he saw Felicia lifting her hand and waving at him, saying, "Hi!"
The young woman's smile was radiant, her eyes vivid and her face bright and captivating. Every frown and smile was enchanting, just like that of a mesmerizing fairy.
