I watched her leaving alone. Even though she said she didn't want to face Alpha Augustus and was strong in her decision, the sorrow inside her was visible to my eyes.

I decided to follow her along when I felt pulled from behind and it was my mate. I turned to her and Carina's tearful face came before me.

My exact felt like ripping. But, at this point, she needs to know that, no matter what, she should know her limits and being my mate, she is not allowed to harm others, especially, the Alpha and the Luna.

I jerked my hand away from her as I glared at her coldly, hiding my sadness and weakness for her. Even my wolf, Sage is angry with his mate.

As I rushed out of the mansion, I sniffed Luna's scent and finally, I found her aimlessly walking in the dark jungle. Immediately, I stopped her, knowing this is too bad for her to roam around like this when the pack is facing troubles for rouges.

These rouges are dangerous and way too out of control. They have no rules, no limits.

"Luna, please stop and go back home," I said, standing before her way like a wall. "It's dangerous for you to roam around like this. you could be targeted by Alpha's enemies."

She stared at me for some time blankly, and slowly, her lips curved into a lifeless smile as she spoke next, "Is that so? And here I thought Gavin is always following me around?"

I blinked and realised she is saying right. But, what shocked me even more is that she knows that she is being followed! But how!?

"Ho... How!? You..." I tried to speak up but was too dumbfounded to speak when I heard Luna's bitter laugh.

She shook her head as if she is mocking me. "You do forget that I can smell him, don't you? That I have my wolf with me now."
