Christine hastily entered the mansion with Lucinda following her behind. She did not know what suddenly happened to the Luna, but followed quietly, hoping for good only.

On the other hand, Charlotte was so excited to meet Augustus. When she entered the mansion, she bumped into Mateo.

Watching her state, he frowned. "Anything wrong, Luna?" He asked worriedly.

"Where is Augustus?" She asked, ignoring his question. She has no time!

Mateo pointed his finger upwards. "In his office. He is..." She did not let him finish and immediately ran upstairs.

"in the meeting." Mateo completed his words but she was gone already. He stared at her disappearing back in an utter shock.

"What happened to her?" He turned to Lucinda.

However, Lucinda shook her head, lowering her eyes a little. "I am not sure, Beta. She suddenly ran here in search of Alpha."

Charlotte barged into the home office. Augustus was sitting behind his desk and looking at his laptop. Her scent forced him to look at her once and then turned his gaze once again to the screen.

Charlotte thought he is ignoring him. Her heart broke slightly and she was enraged. Without a thought she rushed toward him and 'spat~' She closed the laptop loudly, making Augustus frown.

He looked up at her blankly. "What... Charlotte!?" He was passed in the middle and gasped her name when she immediately hugged him tightly.

Sensing something wrong, Augustus pulled her on his lap and hugged her tight. Charlotte felt a little better in his embrace and hold him tightly. She sat there for a long time and thermally loosened her grip and looked into his eyes.

Augustus was full of confusion. He did not understand her sudden behaviour and raised his brow. "What happened? Are you alright?"

Charlotte felt her throat dry up, yet she managed to gulp the lump in her throat and shook her head, not trusting her voice at all. She cupped his cheeks, "Augustus, I..." Her tone shook, "I am sorry... I... I love you so much. I..." She sobbed and Augustus immediately hugged her, caressing her back.

"Hey, it's fine. I love you too." He replied and broke the hug again but holding her close to his heart. "Shh... Calm down and tell me what happened?"

Charlotte wanted to yell about her love and what he did for her proudly, yet she could not. Augustus seemed to not remember any of it. So, she suppressed her emotions and shook her head. "No... Nothing happened. I... I just want to say that I love you." She gulped the heavy lump once again and looked into his green eyes. "Augustus, Mark me. Make me yours officially, will you?"

Augustus wasn't expecting that sudden demand at all. It caught him off guard but he digest it right away. His heart fluttered and he hold her closer. He could not wait to mark her!

"Are you sure, Charlotte?" He asked, could not believe his ears.

"Hundred and ten per cent. Mark me, Augustus. Please..." She almost pleaded and he immediately sealed her lips with his soft ones and stood up with her on his lap.

He pushed her over the desk as her legs tightened around his waist. The kiss was deep, full of hunger and passion. They missed each other a lot these days.
