CHARLOTTE...

I stared at my mate in shock and fear. His angry face is something, I have seen it again and again, but this time? It's not only his anger, but I could see disdain rolling over him!

I froze on the place. My whole body couldn't move. Even though I was praying for him to come and save me, I just realised my mistake. He shouldn't have come!

"Au... Augustus..." I tried to mutter his name, when suddenly his fist punched just right beside my head, breaking it and making me flinch on my feet.

My eyes widened, as I watched his dangerously fuming face.

His other hand raised and gripped me by the throat, as he pulled me straight on my toes, hurting me on the way.

"So, this was your plan, huh?" His rogue voice came and his green eyes started darkening with time.

I wanted to speak and tell him the truth, but, he didn't give me the choice to do it!

"WHY!?" He growled, piercing the night sky, his growl sounded so much in pain and betrayed.

"You think I will let you go? NEVER! I will keep you locked in the dungeon, but never let you GO!"

Saying, he let go of my throat and before I could fall on the ground, coughing, he grabbed me by the neck and dragged me alone with him, out of the Beta's mansion.

I don't know what is happening around me and I don't even want to know at all! All I know is, Augustus misunderstood me! He is angry and I am not finding a way to tell him the truth!

Outside, he throws me in the car and shut the door close. He didn't get in by himself and only ordered Mateo to drive home.

I don't know what he is planning to do. Would he kill Adrian? If he would, I don't even care! I just want him to listen to me for once and Camm down! But, his paranoid personality just kicked in by the scene!

The moment, the car stopped before the Alpha's mansion, the door opened and suddenly, Augustus's huge arm appeared to grab me by the neck and bring me out!

Wait... He was just behind the car? But, didn't get inside? Why?

Does he hate me so much that it was disgraceful to even get in the same car with me?

The thought shocked me to the core as I couldn't think of anything else because of the way he dragged me inside.

He did not take me upstairs to our bed, but he changed his direction to the dungeon! No!

All the maids and other servants were shocked by the scene. I watched  Licinda watching us in shock and fear.

Soon, I was in the dungeon, pulled by him and without a hint, he suddenly throw me to the dungeon wall. I fell hard as if some air knocked out of me.

I never realised that his anger could hurt me this way! For two years, he never hurt me like this, but now?

I couldn't think of anything else when I found myself attached to the steel chain that could control a werewolf.

I gasped as he tied me like that in the cold and dark dungeon.

He bent toward me and grabbed a fistful of hair of mine, tilting my head backwards, he forced me to look up at him.

"You wanted thus, didn't you? Taking my scent and synching with it your so-called boyfriend, huh? All these while, you acted before me just to be with him, huh?"

"I knew you were acting! I always knew that! Your every move toward me was just filled with lies and betrayal. I was just waiting for you to make your move and catch you! Now, you did exactly what I thought!"

He laughed, it sounded painful and filled with bitterness.

"Guess what? I won't let it happen! I hate you for this, Charlotte! You broke my trust! You betrayed me! And now, I won't let you go, but you will suffer in this dungeon! Until your pretty head realise that YOU ONLY BELONG TO ME!"

He let go of my hair, as I gasped in the sharp pain that he caused in my head.

His words kept ringing in my head. He thought what?

I tried to synch his scent with Adrian to be with him? From where did he get this thought? Why would he think like that?
