As silently as possible, I walked through the empty corridor. I can't be bothered by anyone, not now.

But the problem is, in this huge company, where to find the drug-making lab? Specifically, that one drug that is used to suppress my wolf.

Soon, I found the drug labs at the right part of the company. I saw a little hope which immediately was gone. Because all the lab is well protected and people need a special ID to get inside.

Not everyone in the company can just walk inside the lab. I don't only have a way to get inside, I don't even know in which lab he designed that drug for me?

I waited in the white corridor, trying to figure out when I heard a footstep. Immediately, I froze in the spot.

Shit! I can't be seen here! No matter, how much I try, if I have been seen, they would figure out the truth. Maybe, not my reborn but they would know that I guessed their betrayal.

What should I do?! I looked around the whole white corridor.

It's been designed carefully with a technique so that no outside can find their way out.

The footsteps came closer as I pushed myself onto the cold white wall of the corridor. However, as my back pressed on the walk, I slipped through the wall and before I realise it, I was thrown into the darkness.

I gasped in silence as I stayed on the ground in a daze and the cold darkness.

A few seconds ago, I was in all white and now, I am in the darkness where I can't see anything!

I blinked my eyes, realising what happened all of a sudden. Basically, the white illusional wall has a secret passage. And because of the same colour of the wall and the door, I didn't find any way to escape.

I sighed in relief in one part while the other part was caused down with a new fear. The fear of darkness. Unlike, Augustus's darkness, this one is way crazier.

I moved a little in my place, only to stop totally when the footsteps rang in my head clearly. Once again I huffed and thank God for saving me this way and waited for the footstep to vanish.

Soon, footsteps were gone and as I sat there In the confusion and not knowing where I suddenly appear, my eyes caught an inch of light.

Immediately, I brought out my phone and turned on the flashlight.

I stood up and slowly walked toward the light and stopped only when I am close to it. It was a door and I peeked inside only to gasp.

It's a lab! Wait... a hidden lab?

I turned my gaze backwards. Nothing could be seen in the darkness without the flashlight of my phone. I don't even realise, how many steps it took for me to reach here or the direction.

But, that's not the concern now. My main concern is the secret lab. What this lab is for? Anything illegal or...

Suddenly my eyes turned wide in realisation. Secret lab... Secret drug... Of course, that drug they used on me is something dangerous and illegal. Of course, they didn’t make it before the public eye.

Because once they would get caught, the wolf law would banish them. And I am sure, Alpha King Augustus might have killed without a thought.

So, they probably used some sort of private lab. I could guess only and can't be assured. Still, I decided to take a chance.

I put the phone in my pocket again and opened the door a little more, peeking inside carefully. No one is here. Maybe, I can go inside now?

Without thinking about what could happen to me, I pushed the door open cautiously and closed it behind me with the same caution.

I checked the whole place again. No one is here and thankfully, no surveillance cameras are planted here.
