No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 95

Faced with the reporter's pointed question about whether Noelle was the streamer SweetNelly, Lucas appeared dazed.

Over the past few days, he had been drowning himself in alcohol, hoping to numb his thoughts. He wouldn't have managed to pull himself together if it weren't for this event.

Lucas had heard rumors that the streamer SweetNelly would also attend the event, and he wanted to confirm with his own eyes whether the streamer was really Noelle.

Before he could respond, Xenia stepped in. "Dear reporters, we've been wondering about this too. Since the streamer has never shown her face, we can't be certain either."

The reporter pressed further. "But it's said that her voice is an exact match to Ms. Liddell's. Is that true?"

Xenia's expression faltered slightly. "That's correct. But it's not uncommon for people to look and sound alike. Similarities like that don't prove anything."

"Ms. Quigley, does this mean that you don't believe that SweetNelly is actually Ms. Liddell?"

"That's what I think. If she were truly that talented, why would she choose to stream at Firestorm? If she wanted to sign a contract, it would make more sense for her to join Starlight, just like me."

After her remark, she glanced at Lucas. "Right, Lucas? Don't you think so?"

Lucas' expression darkened. He couldn't find the words to answer the question. If Noelle were really SweetNelly, would she have signed with his platform?

In the past, he would have been sure that she would. But the situation was now different.

Noelle observed the scene before turning toward the check-in area.

Rachel felt indignant. "Why does Xenia act like she has the right to dictate what you can and can't do? You have every right to choose which platform to sign a contract with."

"I won't let them manipulate me with their moral superiority," Noelle replied.

As arriving at the check-in area, Xenia's voice suddenly rang out behind her. "Noelle, what are you doing here?"
