No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 241

Noelle got changed before heading downstairs, where Morgan was waiting outside.

"I assume you know why I'm here?" Morgan looked at Noelle.

"It's about the rumors on the campus forum, right?" Noelle said.

"Yes," Morgan nodded. "The program you embedded has locked many students' phones. Some parents can't reach their children because their children's only phone is locked. They were so worried, they almost reported it to the police."

Noelle remained unfazed. "As soon as they apologize for what they've done, their phones will be unlocked." She offered the solution, but they refused to accept it.

"I understand you want to resolve the issue with the campus forum, but isn't your method a little too aggressive? It's also caused some disruption at the school," Morgan said, "So, I'd like you to unlock the phones first before we figure out how to resolve this."

"No can do," Noelle replied coldly. "This could be easily fixed if they just apologized. There's nothing more I can do on my end. Even if I delete the program, it won't unlock their phones. That's just how the program works."

"Noelle, are you refusing to cooperate? You need to understand there will be consequences!" Morgan didn't expect Noelle to be such a pain.

Not only did she have issues with the rich students from the business school, but she also went as far as locking everyone's phones.

Initially, the school had no intention of taking this incident seriously—they planned to handle the program themselves. However, after spending the entire afternoon trying, Patrick simply couldn't crack Noelle's code, let alone unlock all the students' phones.

With no other option, they had to approach Noelle, only to find she wasn't willing to cooperate.

Noelle said calmly, "I'm well aware of my actions. All I ask is just a simple apology from the people who slandered me. Is that too much to ask?"

Morgan sighed before speaking, "Noelle, you're an orphan, and your parents have passed away. You were accepted into our school as a top scorer, but your family's financial situation probably isn't great. It's only natural that people would believe the rumors."

"This is hilarious," Noelle smirked mockingly. "The person who started the rumor did so with just one photo. I don't see why I shouldn't fight back. Being an orphan doesn't mean I must be poor and materialistic, does it?"
