Noelle could hear sounds coming from outside, but her vision was completely dark.
Cedric's coat was draped over her, shielding her from everything outside. She felt much calmer now. At least she was certain she was safe.
His lips curled when he saw the two bodyguards lying on the floor. "Since they won't speak, let's ensure they never do."
The bodyguards, seeing Cedric holding Noelle, turned pale with fear. Who would've expected this woman to be saved by the rich bachelor of Yasnia? Wasn't she an orphan with no parents?
Cedric held Noelle as they left in the private elevator. She leaned against his chest, her head covered with his suit jacket, unable to see what was happening outside.
Her mind felt like a mess. Her hand tightly gripped his collar, her knuckles turning pale.
As they rode the elevator down, Samantha was running up the stairs. She saw Cedric entering the elevator, holding a woman in his arms. Although the coat almost covered the whole body, it was clear that it was a woman!
She was startled and hid by the side. She had been waiting for the bodyguards but couldn't wait any longer and wanted to check on the situation.
To her surprise, she saw Cedric. What was going on? Was he with another woman?
Where did that bitch, Noelle, go? Just as Samantha was about to step out, she was blocked by the bodyguards.
She glared at them. "Do you know who I am? How dare you stop me!"
She had clearly seen Cedric with another woman. This matter had to be investigated and reported to Laura. She couldn't let some lowly woman take advantage of this situation.
However, the bodyguards firmly blocked her, not letting her get any closer. She stomped her foot in frustration. "Get out of my way!"
Xenia walked over and asked, "Ms. Merlock, what's going on?"
"These people are blocking me. My sister is Mr. Greene's fiancee. If he finds out you're stopping me, you'll regret it!"
When Xenia heard the name "Mr. Greene," her eyes immediately lit up. "You mean Mr. Greene is in that private room?"
