At that moment, Xenia walked over and exchanged a look with Isaac.
Noelle opened the software backend and began the testing. But before long, an error appeared.
Isaac sneered. "See? It's failing. Some people just talk big but have no real ability."
Xenia, feigning surprise, said, "Why don't you go back and make some changes?"
"Make changes? According to the agreement, she should be fired. There's no need to bring someone else to fix it because I've already written the code."
He took out a USB drive and looked down at Noelle. "Step aside. If you have no ability, don't talk big."
After sitting down, he immediately began operating. In the end, the test passed successfully.
Isaac looked smug as he stared at Noelle. "So, what do you think? Are you impressed? This is what real skill looks like!"
Noelle sneered. "Stealing someone else's code and then bragging about it—impressive, truly. You certainly excel at theft and boasting."
"What nonsense are you talking about?" He was instantly furious but glanced at Xenia, feeling a little guilty.
Xenia spoke coolly, "Isaac does have some skills. You can't just say someone is stealing because your code didn't work."
Bobby, growing impatient, looked at Noelle and said, "You're fired."
"I'd like to see who dares to fire her."
Frank walked in, followed by James. Xenia felt a pang of annoyance when she saw Frank. Why did he show up now, of all times?
Bobby quickly spoke respectfully. "Mr. Liddell, I have reasons to fire her. The code she wrote is wrong, and her attitude is arrogant. She's not cooperating with the company's arrangements. Such an employee can't be kept."
Frank's expression was cold. "She's not here to be an employee. She will be your boss. What work arrangements does she need to cooperate with?"
At this, everyone was stunned. Xenia's expression changed. What did he mean by this?
Could it be that Frank planned to have Noelle manage the branch office?
