My Four Miraculous Treasures novel Chapter 60

That elderly woman turned red with anger, but she didn’t say anything else.

Samantha, on the other hand, refused to back down and swallow her anger after seeing Willow and her family stand their ground despite being broke.

She had stopped her car at the village entrance on purpose to show off and to belittle Willow.

She looked down on them with her heavily made-up face and chuckled. “Aunt Lara, your clothes are so shabby and you have no jewelry on you despite your age. I’m guessing that it’s because Willow keeps dragging you down. Why don’t you follow me to the city tomorrow and I’ll buy you a gold necklace…”

While it sounded like Samantha was showing respect to her elders, she was actually taunting Willow by mocking Lara.

Lara’s expression immediately darkened.

She was indeed dressed shabbily without wearing any accessories, not even a single earring.

At that moment, the four children finally caught up.

“Mommy! Grandma!”

The children ran up and held Lara and Willow’s hands.

The youngest child, Lilith, looked up with her adorable face and said innocently, “Aunt Samantha, will you really buy Grandma accessories? But Grandma is busy tomorrow, so why don’t you give her that gold bangle you’re wearing?”

Samantha looked at the thick gold bangle on her wrist and instinctively covered it with her other hand.

Evidently feeling embarrassed, she replied, “This is used so it doesn’t seem appropriate to give this to Aunt Lara.”

The third child, Hailey, blinked her pretty eyes and said softly, “Grandma won’t mind.”

“Yeah, Grandma loves gold. Since you intend to gift her gold, you can just give it to her now,” Julian said, looking at Samantha with his gorgeous face. His innocent eyes were clear and bright.
