Paul clicked his tongue. "So it's that bad?"
A negative item could be passed down for generations and still allow an entire family to live so well. At that point, Paul wondered if it was still considered a negative time.
"You mentioned the dreams you've had been coming true. What kind of dreams are they?" Paul asked directly.
At the question, Elsie's long eyelashes fluttered, and her eyes started to fill with tears. She was clearly on the verge of tears, looking as if she had been deeply wronged.
Paul, once known for his charm with women, had grown indifferent after his experiences in Murida a few years ago. After that, he became somewhat sensitive to tears and fragility.
He used to be the kind of man who would pity the delicate, but now, nothing could stir his emotions. He twitched his mouth slightly and added, "If you don't want to talk about it, then forget it."
"Once the plane lands, tell my wife about the situation," Joe said coldly.
After speaking, he closed his eyes again.
Elsie hadn't expected Joe to be so indifferent. He just glanced at her once and simply told her to inform Skylar. She had wanted to speak to him directly, not Skylar.
She found the information online about negative items too fantastical. She didn't believe that such a negative item was real.
Most of it seemed like deliberate sensationalism. Otherwise, Skylar wouldn't have been able to make so much money or build such a powerful image.
Elsie didn't believe it. But this was the only excuse she could come up with to approach Joe.
"Okay." She reluctantly agreed, but the tears still flowed uncontrollably down her cheeks.
Afraid that Joe would think she was being overly dramatic, she quickly turned her head away. Flustered, she hurriedly returned to her seat.
Paul blinked. "Did I say something wrong? Why is she crying all of a sudden? Could it be because I asked her what dream she had, and it's related to that dream?"
