Love Beyond the Mask novel Chapter 976

Parker was drowning in a sea of shame, his handsome features shadowed by regret and frustration.

"I completely lost it this afternoon, thinking she was just being selfish, deciding everything about our child without even telling me. I felt so betrayed, and I lashed out at her without thinking."

Whitney squinted her eyes and snorted coldly, "Now you realize your son is still here, and suddenly you're playing the repentant card? If you truly feel sorry, what are you still doing here moping around? Go make it up to her!"

She crossed her arms, hardly able to contain her anger. "Tiana's at the hospital crying over a jerk like you. Go tell her yourself about the baby, and while you're at it, get down on your knees and apologize."

"...Really?" He was exasperated.

But Parker couldn't shake the image of Tiana, tear-streaked and vulnerable, especially knowing there was still a warm little life inside her, which made him treasure her even more. Nodding solemnly, he admitted his fault, "I've been a jerk. I'm going back to her."

"That's more like it." Whitney kicked aside a beer can and strutted out with her head held high.

Turning around, a smirk played on her lips.

You think you're too tough to handle? Think again!

Parker was speeding down the road, his heart as restless as a wildfire, desperate to see Tiana and embrace the woman who had suffered so much because of him...

As Whitney followed in her car, watching Parker push his Lamborghini to the limit, she couldn't help but draw parallels between them and herself with Ludwik three years ago.

Without personally ensuring they cleared up their misunderstandings, Whitney couldn't rest easy.

She remembered something and made a call to Ashton, hoping to ask him to pick up Cherry from the Doonan Mansion and bring her to Skyfaith Hospital. Whitney had some important questions for Cherry, and she wanted Ashton to hear them too.

But before she could speak, Ashton's brisk voice came through, "Whitney, I can't talk right now."

Then Whitney heard the faint sounds of a woman in pain and the chaos of a medical team in the background. Clearly, it was Elaine.

Ashton, ever the responsible jerk, had actually taken Elaine to the hospital.

Frowning, Whitney hung up the phone, her mind whirling with thoughts.

When she arrived at Skyfaith Hospital, she saw Parker jump out of his car and rush toward the admission building. The setting sun cast a fiery glow on his lean, determined figure.

His shirt stuck to his back with sweat as he ran towards his beloved, a sight that made Whitney smile slightly.

Taking a deep breath, she followed in her heels, determined to catch up.
