Defying Fate: The Unstoppable Eileen novel Chapter 377

— "Oh my god! She did it!"

— "She won! She actually won!"

— "Champion! Champion! Champion!"

— "That's my girl! I knew she wouldn't disappoint me! That little rascal brought honor to the family!"

The online chatter was electric.

Even the national broadcasting channel's official Twitter account joined in, retweeting a post from a major Eileen fan account, "Eileen's Proud Dad," congratulating the "not-so-rebellious" Eileen on winning the first episode of the second season of the New York City show "Valiant Quest."

They even added five thumbs-up emojis above the retweet for extra praise!

With the national channel giving its stamp of approval, any of Eileen's rivals who might have had something snarky to say were suddenly silent.

After all, Eileen had competed in an international show, against international competitors, and her success was seen as a proud moment for her country.

Drones buzzed overhead as a swarm of crew members started tidying up the aftermath. "Valiant Quest" had a massive production budget, airing only three episodes per season, with each episode costing several million dollars to produce.

The damage from the finale exceeded their expectations, but they had no choice but to accept it. They couldn't risk coming off as stingy, after all.

Eileen climbed down from the railing, hands casually tucked in her pockets, as she descended the stairs from the rooftop to the first floor.

The live broadcast wasn't quite over yet; there was still some time left with Hana.

As she reached the third floor, she ran into the Mondot team, their hair dusted with debris as they exited the building.

The two groups crossed paths, and the Mondot team, with their five pairs of sharp green eyes, stared at Eileen, almost as if trying to see through her.

Unfazed, Eileen walked past them, maintaining her usual air of confidence.

One of the Mondot team members couldn't help but grumble, "She's so cocky!"

Mondot himself looked displeased but admitted, "She's earned it."

After all, she'd single-handedly outperformed 99 other contestants.

Outside the apartment building, Eileen was immediately surrounded by a horde of reporters, each thrusting a microphone under her nose.

Caught off guard, Eileen took a step back, her hands knocked free from her pockets, and she pressed against the wall, exclaiming, "Whoa, what's going on?"

A blonde reporter excitedly thrust her microphone closer, "Miss Bonnie, can you share your thoughts on winning?"

Eileen swallowed, her eyes meeting the camera lens as she paused before replying, "I don't really have any thoughts."

A male reporter jumped in, "How can you not have any? Your final move was brilliant! When you dropped those bombs, had you already calculated the final play zone? Your placement was so precise!"

Eileen replied, "The safe zones spawn randomly. I couldn't predict them perfectly, so I just covered the entire second-to-last zone."

The male reporter pressed further, "And you climbed the exterior wall to reach the rooftop!"

Eileen nodded, "Yeah, that way I wouldn't get caught in the blast."

The male reporter was even more animated, "How did you manage that?"

Eileen hesitated before replying, "With my hands?"

The male reporter: "..."

Then, another reporter with glasses asked, "Do you have anything you'd like to say to your competitors?"

Eileen thought for a moment and then replied candidly, "You're all losers."

The reporter with glasses: "..."
