"Ahhhhhhhh!"
"What the heck, what the heck, what the heck?!"
"When I said 'kick his butt,' I didn't mean literally! Not in a way that actually kills someone!"
"This can't be happening, Eileen! We don't need to go this far!"
"Isn't this murder?!"
"Jeez, Eileen's really got a temper! Are you out of your mind? We're live, and you're killing someone?"
"That's it, I'm contacting an international lawyer. I'm tweeting Eileen's agent right now!"
The Crestonia fans were losing it over Eileen's unflinching move that seemed straight out of a horror show.
Meanwhile, across the pond in the USA, things weren't looking any better.
"What on earth is this Asian girl doing?!"
"Pook's gonna die, oh my God! He was my favorite in season one!"
"Pook and Dick were just badmouthing her. They've got some serious issues with Asians. Sure, they were way out of line, but she can't just rip off Pook's parachute! That's murder! That's a life!"
"Just because of a few insults, she wants him dead? Is this woman insane?"
"Wait, I recognize her! She's Kee's wife!"
"Oh my God, I remember now! I saw her in that Frostsglow incident livestream! Isn't she some Crestonia celebrity? What's she doing on our adventure show?"
"Forget the chatter! Pook's actually about to die! He's about to hit the ground! I can't even watch!"
The online world was in an uproar, and inside the plane, those who hadn't jumped yet, including Dick, were glued to the screen, watching the events unfold below.
"Ahhhhh!"
The girls screamed in terror!
Dick was pale as a ghost, utterly drained of color.
The crew was on the brink of losing it!
They were frantically radioing nearby helicopters, desperately trying to save parachute-less Pook!
"Valiant Quest" was about to witness a tragedy!
If something happened, the show would be done for! Nearly a hundred million dollars of pre-production investment down the drain, not to mention the lawsuits!
It was over! Everything was over!
At that moment, countless eyes were fixed on the live feed, faces ashen.
In a corner of the plane, a boyish figure, a slight smile on his lips, watched the drama unfolding on the giant screen, where the man named Pook's face was a mask of terror as he faced the grim reality of death.
The man casually adjusted his hair, discovering a slight tear in the skin at his temple.
He quickly fished out a pocket mirror to check on his expertly crafted boyish disguise.
Small eyes, freckles, a plain blue t-shirt, just your average kid — this was his most flawless mask yet.
Once satisfied that everything was back in place, he put the mirror away.
Back to the screen.
Why hadn't he fallen yet?
The "boy" yawned, feeling a bit bored, and was tempted to fast forward to see if his darling would really let Pook crash to his death.
Pook had been a fearless air force veteran, never daunted by a skydive.
But now, in the moment his parachute detached, he knew he was done for!
He was a goner!
Above him, the wind revealed the full features of the Asian girl watching him from above.
Her eyes were icy, her lips curled in a chilling smirk.
She was taking revenge!
She knew they'd been hurling slurs at her, her country, her people, and now she was getting back at him!
This was... ridiculously petty!
But none of that mattered now! Nothing mattered! This witch had killed him!
He was going to die at the hands of someone he despised, someone he looked down upon!
Damn!
The descent was rapid.
So fast, it was as if it happened in an instant.
As Pook was about to hit the ground, everyone shut their eyes, unable to watch the impending carnage on screen.
"Ahhhhhhh!"
The screams from the screen filled the air...
Then, there was a brief silence...
Moments later, someone dared to peek.
No bloody mess, no gory scene.
